City Offices Closed in Observance of Thanksgiving Holiday City offices will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday November 27 and 28. Remington Nature Center and the REC Center will be open normal hours of operation on November 28. The landfill will be open on November 28 from 7am-2pm.

February Election

In February, voters will be asked to consider additional Sewer Revenue Bonds in the amount of $190 million to fund federal and state mandated projects to reduce the number of raw sewage discharges into the Missouri River. These projects must be completed and bonds must be issued to fund them. Voters will decide if the bonds can be issued at a lower interest rate, which would save millions of dollars in interest.
