Fairview Golf Course

  1. 4 Week Indoor Golf League

    November 13 - December 4 @ Fairview Golf Course

    The Fairview Golf Course if offering a 4 week indoor golf league beginning November 13, 2017. This is a 2-Man scramble with closest to the pin every week. Cost is $10 prize fund per player and a $10 week league fee. Register for this league prior to November 13, 2017 by visiting Fairview Golf Course or by calling (816) 271-5350.

  1. Holiday Park Lighting Ceremony at Krug Park

    November 24, 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM @ Krug Park Lagoon

    Join the Mayor to celebrate turning on the lights to holiday park. Meet him at the island in the parking lot by the Krug Park Lagoon. Enjoy some musical entertainment, refreshments, and watch a the Mayor and children attending this event flip the big light switch to activate our winter wonderland! The lighting ceremony begins at 6:00! See you there!

  2. South Pole Lighting Ceremony at Hyde Park

    November 24, 6:45 PM - 7:30 PM @ Hyde Park Gazebo

    Join the Mayor, the Hyde Park Elementary Hand Bell Choir, the Southside Progressive Association and Santa for the South Pole holiday lighting ceremony on November 24, 2017. We will meet at the gazebo around 6:45 pm to enjoy musical entertainment by the Hyde Park Elementary Hand Bell Chirr. At 7:00 pm, the children are invited to join the Mayor in flipping the large light switch to turn on all the beautiful lighting throughout the South Pole. Stick around to enjoy some light refreshments (courtesy of the Southside Progressive Association), walk through the park, and visit with Santa Claus. This will definitely be a night to build memories. See you there!

Remington Nature Center

  1. Fish Feeding Frenzy

    November 24, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Remington Nature Center

    Come help us cut worms to feed the Missouri River fish who live in our 7,000 gallon aquarium, then watch as our staff feeds them. The fish's diet consists of minnows, worms, corn, and peas. Each child will receive a special Fish Feeding sticker.
