The airport is conveniently located about 35 miles north of Kansas City. That means the traffic is lighter and you don't have to get involved with the air-carrier headaches. There's no landing fee, either. Nearby freeways will quickly allow you to get into Kansas City or the city of St. Joseph. There is a good variety of motels close by and rental cars can be obtained from FBO Express Flight Inc. or direct from the car companies. Express also has a courtesy car available.
