Alarm Permits
Per Chapter 20, Article VIII, Sections 20-401-407 in the St. Joseph Code of Ordinances, every alarm user shall pay “an annual permit fee of $25.00”. This fee will be applied to the first six false alarms a system may have within the fiscal year, July 1 to June 30 each year. False alarms numbering seven to nine within the fiscal year shall be charged an additional $50.00 for each false alarm. False alarms numbering ten or above within the fiscal year shall be charged an additional $100.00 for each false alarm. Alarm Permits are billed annually through the Customer Assistance Center on or around May 1st each year and due on or before June 30th. If there are any changes to the alarm system account, you must contact the Customer Assistance Center. This includes change of site address, change of ownership, mailing address, etc.
