Councilmember Roger Baker was elected to the 1st District City Council position on April 4, 2006.

Mr. Baker retired from the St. Joseph Fire Department in January 2005, after serving 23 years with the department.

Mr. Baker serves as the chairperson of the Council Public Safety committee and is a member of the Streets and Infrastructure committee and the Finance / Audit committee.
