Shelter Hours (open to the public): Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Wednesday 1:00 pm -l 6:30 pm
Friday & Saturday from 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Officer's Available Hours:
Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm.

The Animal
Shelter Dispatcher works Monday through
Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
The Animal Care Specialist works
from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday,
Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday they work
from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The Administrative Office and Kennel
are opened from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday. On Wednesday the Administrative
Office and Kennel are opened from 1:00 p.m.
until 6:30 p.m.
Hours of Field Services: Monday through Friday, field services are provided from 7:00 a.m. until midnight, with the exception of Holidays. On Saturday field services are available from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. On Sunday, only emergency service is provided.
After-hours Emergency Service: After midnight during the week and after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and all day Sunday only calls of an emergency nature are handled.

Calls After-hours: Emergency
calls after-hours consist of animal bites,
injured [stray] animals, loose livestock,
wildlife in a occupied building, or any
call where the well-being of a citizen or
an animal is at risk.
The Animal
Shelter is located in the south St. Joseph
industrial park. The simplest directions
are to get on 36 highway. Take the 759-highway
exit and go south approximately 2 miles
to Lower Lake Road. The Shelter sets on
the corner of Lower Lake Road and 759 highway.
