Kids are important to St. Joseph's Remington Nature Center. We want you to be able to find some really cool nature information and have fun doing it. So, we've created a section just for you. In this section you'll find some cool web sites to view, fun things to do, and even a scavenger hunt for when you visit the nature center.

Education

The Remington Nature Center of St. Joseph offers a unique education experience for groups of all ages. Some resources include:
Feeding fish
Friday Fish Feeding Frenzy

Please join us at the Remington Nature Center of St. Joseph every Friday at 10:30 a.m. for our Friday Fish Feeding Frenzy event. Help us feed the Missouri River fish who live in our 7,000-gallon aquarium. Their diet consists of minnows, worms, corn, and peas. Observe the fish as they fatten their bellies.

Fish Feeding Frenzy
EVERY Friday, 10:30am
Come help us cut worms to feed the Missouri River fish who live in our 7,000 gallon aquarium, then watch as our staff feeds them. The fish's diet consists of minnows, worms, corn, and peas. Each child will receive a special Fish Feeding sticker.
