Immunizations
Infant, child, and adult immunizations are available through the St. Joseph Health Department.

The Immunization Clinic accepts insurance plans and has an immunization pricing list for those interested in paying for immunizations out-of-pocket. Click here for a list of health insurance providers accepted at the health department. Immunizations are provided in the clinic through the Vaccine for Children (VFC) program to children from birth through 18 years of age. The health department also accepts Missouri HealthNet (Medicaid).

Services are provided Monday through Friday from 8:00-11:00 a.m. and 1:00-4:00 p.m. Please bring a copy of the most recent immunization record and insurance card. All children less than 18 years of age must be accompanied by parent or guardian. For additional information on the vaccines available and to determine eligibility, please call 816-271-4725.

The clinic organizes an annual public flu clinic that is typically held at an off-site location that is convenient to the public and can accommodate several hundred patrons. The annual flu clinic welcomes adults who live and work in St. Joseph. The vaccine at our annual flu clinic is free of charge.

The clinic can provide immunization clinics in the public, private, and parochial schools. Contact the clinic for more information.
