Tuberculosis (TB) Testing and Treatment
Tuberculosis (TB) skin testing and latent TB infection treatment, follow-up, and active TB disease case management and directly observed treatment and follow-up are offered by the clinic at the health department free of charge for all known contacts of an active case of TB.

Anyone needing TB medication can receive the medicine free through the health department clinic with a physician's orders and initial assessment. Refugee Health Assessment Reports are received, completed, and returned to Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services after individual client assessments are completed. Monthly health assessments are done by staff to monitor the patients progress while they are on the medicine. Regular communication with the patient's physician is maintained while the patient is receiving drug therapy.

TB testing for employment purposes or for medical history without a known exposure to an active TB case is available for a $12 charge at our clinic.

Employers! Contact our clinic to arrange invoicing procedures so your employees can get tested with no out-of-pocket charge. TB testing can be administered at our facility or yours. Call for details at 816-271-4725.
