Growing Communities is an in-depth, 2-day American Community Gardening Association hands-on workshop based on curriculum for community development. Participants learn proven strategies to develop dynamic leaders and create strong community gardening programs. As a “train the trainers” session, attendees learn the principles and practices of community building, and how to pass these techniques on to others in their community by conducting their own workshops. The curriculum unleashes the power of local community members to have a positive impact on their own lives and the lives of their communities.

"Eat Healthy Be Active"
The Community Health division is proud to offer "Eat Healthy Be Active" program which helps participants discover easy ways to improve their health through moderate exercise and healthy food selection and preparation. Each of the six sessions has a clear agenda and often a take-away item related to the program. Sessions run one hour.
