The
Joyce Raye Patterson Senior Citizens Center
is a nice, attractive facility for persons
50+ or handicapped. Built over the existing
Library Square parking lot, parking and
access are convenient for our users. We
have approximately 55 groups and organizations
that meet either daily, weekly, monthly,
or quarterly.
This pleasant atmosphere is unsurpassed
in this area. In 19,000 square feet of space,
a variety of activities take place. You
do not have to be a resident of St. Joseph
to enjoy our center. Some groups have their
own membership requirements and/or fees.
Our center does not have an overall membership
fee. Our budget is funded through the City’s
Parks, Recreation and Civic Facilities tax.
