If you have information about a crime or the whereabouts of a wanted subject you are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 238-TIPS (238-8477). The telephone is answered 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Your identity will remain confidential. You will be given an identification number; we do not have caller id. Rewards are offered up to $1,000.00. If your information leads to an arrest, the Coordinator (Detective Gregg Lewis 271-5334) will advise the Board of Directors, who will vote on the amount of a reward at a monthly meeting. When you contact the Coordinator you will be notified of a location to pick up your cash reward without anyone knowing who you are. Crime Stoppers of Greater St. Joseph is modeled after Crime Stoppers International, and was started in St. Joseph in 1990. It is privately funded from donations received from within the community.
