Mitch

Posted on February 21, 2020 at 2:18 PM by Brad Grasty

Mitch3Mitch. 568634, is a 2 year old, 62 lb pitbull mix currently in the Pups for Parole program.  He was placed in the Pups For Parole program to recuperate after being hit by a car.  He has healed nicely though has lost some mobility in his rear left foot.  Mitch’s handler says Mitch is always a happy boy.  He likes treats, getting attention, playing with other dogs & has two special toys he plays with.  He even looks forward to bath time!!  When Mitch is not playing with other dogs, he is laid back & likes to cuddle.  He is well mannered, loyal, obedient & easy to train.  He has all the makings of being a good family friend.  He is a dog that has been through so much, but has never lost his happy outlook on life.  If you are interested in meeting Mitch, please fill out an application, & call our volunteer, Kathy, for a meet & greet 816-752-2295.

Millie

Millie1Millie, 585841, is a 9 month old merle catahoula leopard hound currently in the Pups for Parole program.   She is a beautiful dog inside & out.  She is a nice size at 40 lbs. & her coat is stunning.  She plays good with all the dogs, is very loving towards her handlers & friendly to everyone.  She is housebroken & learning her obedience commands quickly.  One of her outstanding characteristics is being well behaved.  She has not gotten into anything or been destructive in anyway.  She is respectful of her handlers’ requests.  When told to go into her kennel, she goes in & does not come out until released.  When it is time to go outside, she patiently waits until her handler is ready & says “let’s go”.  If you are interested in meeting this lovely dog, please fill out an application, & call our volunteer, Kathy, for a meet & greet, 816-752-2295.

Traci

Posted on February 7, 2020 at 4:04 PM by Brad Grasty

Traci2Traci, 575160, is a 1 1/2 year old, 47 lb pitbull.  She is in the Puppies For Parole program where it has been shown that the word loving is in every sentence that describes this pretty girl.  She loves squeaky toys & playing ball.  She loves all the dogs & plays with them whenever she has a chance.  Though she can be hesitant at first meeting new people, she quickly warms up & welcomes them to her.  She is a high energy dog that loves to run outdoors & would be a good candidate for an active family.  She also has the added plus that she can calm down & loves laying next to people.  She does have a slight limp that comes from an old injury, but it doesn’t seem to hinder her in anyway.  If you would like to meet Traci, please fill out an application & call our volunteer, Kathy, for a meet & greet 816-752-2295.
