This dance is for persons 50 and older and is weather dependent. Please use the lower level door to enter the center. Cost is $5 at the door.     Join a new free six-week program that is being offered to all ages at the Joyce Raye Patterson Senior Center, 100 S 10th Street from 10-11 am on Thursdays from September 26 - October 31, 2019. During this six week program, learn how to safely make physical activity a part of your everyday life while improving your mood, helping you move easier, and for those suffering with pain, learn how to manage that pain. This is a free program lead by trained instructors from the Arthritis Foundation. You don't have to be suffering from arthritis to attend. Wear your walking shoes or tennis shoes and take steps to better health. All participants receive a free book. Register today at the JRP Senior Center, 100 S 10th Street, St. Joseph, MO.     The 4th Friday of every month, join in on the cornhole tournament at the JRP Center! Brought to you by Corby Place Senior Living, the tournament begins at 12:00 pm and runs until 1:30 or 2:00 pm, depending upon the number of participants. This tournament plays using senior rules (21 feet throw) and all materials are provided. It's free, so what do you have to lose?     Kelly Jarrett, PTA, from Freudenthal Home Health has an exercise class just for you! "Get Up & Get Moving!" is a fitness class personalized to your physical ability. Participants can sit or stand to exercise. Activities help to increase core strength and balance. This class meets every Monday from 1:00-2:00 pm at the JRP Center, 100 S 10th Street, St. Joseph.
