Learn to hockey skate classes are scheduled for 5:30-6:30 pm on Thursday evenings and include 30 minutes of hockey skating elements, use of helmets and hockey skates, a practice card good for 6 free public sessions during the session dates. Skaters are divided into levels with classes ranging from beginner to advanced. All skaters must be able to stand and walk in skates without assistance. All skaters must complete level 2 of the learn to hockey skate program before being admitted in the learn to play hockey program. In the event that the St. Joseph School District cancels classes due to winter weather, there will not be class that evening. The missed class will be made up at the end of the six-week session.
