Emergency Declaration and Order Extended

City Council has made the decision to extend the guidelines established in the Fifth Amended Declaration and Order through June 15. Also extended through June 15, was the order issued by the State of Missouri, which applies to the city of St. Joseph.

Additional results are back from the COVID-19 community testing clinic held over the weekend at Mosaic Life Care. An additional 537 results were received today confirming 14 new positive cases of COVID-19 for Buchanan County.

A total of 1,593 individuals participated in the weekend COVID-19 community testing clinic held at Mosaic Life Care. On Saturday, 834 tests were conducted, and 759 tests conducted on Sunday.

The City of St. Joseph has confirmed two positive cases of COVID-19. The first is a female in her twenties and is staying at home with family in St. Joseph. The second is a female in her thirties and was tested through Northwest Health Services.
